Mark Boothman

One of the two founding partners of Boothman Jones, Mark Boothman was driven to create a results-based client focused litigation firm with advocacy at its heart. Mark has a decade of experience as a Jersey litigation advocate and in that time has developed a reputation of delivering for his clients with robust and commercially astute advice both in and out of Court.

He is extremely well-regarded and testament to this is the amount of referral enquiries he receives which form the main source of his work. This demonstrates the lasting relationships he builds with his clients and contacts. Whether in civil, commercial, construction or criminal litigation, Mark strives to get the best results for his clients whilst also ensuring that he builds a relationship which last long beyond any individual instruction.

Mark met Ian when they both worked together at Carey Olsen, a leading offshore legal practice, following which they became partners together at a litigation focused firm. The creation of Boothman Jones is the final step after many years of hard work and Mark is dedicated to ensuring that Boothman Jones is a firm which represents the recognition that he has personally achieved in his career so far.

Outside of work Mark has travelled the world on various shark conservation and research expeditions and when not in the office, his favourite place to be is on or in the ocean with his family.
